As early as April 2020, a more balanced analysis of the benefits and costs of the policy should have taken place. You are called upon to continue to think for yourself, to take in information from multiple sources, and not to blindly accept official stories or policy lines and certainly not to simply follow science. This conversation is not just a retrospective of corona policy, but a broader call for autonomy in thinking and acting, and the protection of democratic values in times of crisis.
